Getting ready for show at the Artichoke Gallery, Ticehurst. Opens next Friday. Daunting stuff!

Bit of a struggle this one. Seems to be that making for an exhibition is rather challenging. The pressure to produce something good! Nerve -wracking!

Well done Mel, Iris, Sarah, Anji and Veronica! Looks amazing! Looking forward to adding some more work on Friday. Hope its up to scratch!

Here’s an ‘innovative’ one, and one I copied… The two go hand in hand when learning… Copying from the masters, yet embracing the chance to try out new ideas.

I have also pinpointed a focus for my next work… To create something unique, quirky and characterful while retaining order, precision, attention to detail… Definitely something to work towards!

Inspired by a charming little basket I spotted in a market in Galicia. Perfect for gathering berries at this time of year!

Sometimes a little bit of asymmetry is ok…  And this is me trying to make something functional… But somehow unable to! What could this function as… An enormous fruit bowl? It was supposed to be a shopper!!

So proud of all my crafty colleagues for putting on a fantastic show. It was so diverse with loads of lovely examples of experimentation and boundary-pushing, plus some well executed and beautiful work. Well done everyone, I hope we can continue to make together for years to come!
