Fantastic news! I’m thrilled to be partially funded by NADFAS (The National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies) and the HCA (Heritage Crafts Association), who have kindly agreed to support my developing career as a craftsperson, as part of their brilliant work and objectives supporting the arts and heritage crafts. I will be using the funding to pay for 1:1 tuition with expert basketmakers Adrian Charlton and Joe Hogan, who between them have a combined experience of nearly 70 years, and both make stunning work which I have long admired. So exciting! Thank you NADFAS and HCA, I am so grateful for this contribution and proud to be representing your organisations which are doing such good work ensuring artists and craftspeople develop and thrive.

Many thanks also to Mary Butcher and Eddie Glew for supporting me during the application process.
