Sustainability. Tradition. Innovation.
Basketmakers today work with traditional techniques and contemporary forms to preserve the place of basketry as both aesthetic and functional; harnessing beauty, nature and craftsmanship in an age of mass-produced, disposable plastic vessels. My own practice is informed by my respect for traditional skills, a life-long connection to the natural world, and a yearning for a more simple life. I also just love making stuff!

Hi Emma, Dominic Parrette recommended you … I’m looking for someone to run a half or full day course at our farmhouse in East Sussex for a friends 60th , June 2025. Probably 10 people, would you be interested.
separately I’d be v interested in any courses you’re running … have the willow, try and fail every year to make it work!
